Happy Holidays!

Our little angel under the tree. Well,
it didn't turn out so great but you have
to have a picture of the baby under the
tree! And of course Harper needed
to be a part of it as well.A very lazy Sunday afternoon. Mike and I
threw a Montana version of an ornament
exchange, by the looks of Mike in this picture
you can see it was a success! We got a pony
keg from one of the local brews and had about
20+ people sipping(gulping) off it. It was a
lot of fun to open up our house to friends and
neighbors here. Next year it's a "tacky holiday
sweater and bring a nice ornament party!"
Ummm, I love him! He's so amazing...he leaves
me speechless.

Daddy and Andrew enjoying each other's
company. And, Andrew has his
thumb in his mouth.
Okay I'm not sure what I did with the location
of this picture, but you get the drift. As you can
see our 3.5 month old is using his Bumbo.
Have I mentioned that time flies? He's eating 4oz
every three hours. Goes down around 8ish and
sleeps until 5ish. Isn't the greatest napper but
sleeps like a champ at night. Working hard
on rolling over, he's done it about 4 times!
Laughing and chatting up a storm. Sucking
his thumb and drooling like a dog! He's such
a blessing from God, I bear hug and kiss him
constantly.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Thanksgiving

Aunt Lurr, AKA Antler! This past Saturday
Mike, Andrew and I were able to head to Bozeman
and visit Lorissa and her family. It was such a
special treat to get to see them all! We spent the
afternoon at Jenelle's place enjoying some bloody
mary's and yummy soup!
On Thanksgiving we headed to Hank and Kim's place
for a great feast! We were lucky enough to have Jaime
and Mike come down from Great Falls, it's always
great having them visit. I hope they move to
Billings some day. They're with their newest family
member "Deek." He's a great dog! The following day
we spent the evening with Patti and Dennis. Our
entire Thanksgiving weekend was wonderful!
Happy Family!
These next few shots were taken while I was
playing with Drew, Mike was over my shoulder
getting the shots. At 12 weeks he has grown so much.
His smile is to die for! He loves smiling at us and
sticking his tongue out too. He's real strong with his
body and loves practicing "assisted"rollovers and pull ups.
He's also out growing his bassinet and starting to break out
of his swaddles. We've been sort of trying to get him
into his crib but he's taken to getting really upset
when he gets tired. We know we need to transition him
and so we think we'll take that leap of faith this coming
weekend. Wish us luck, I'm not looking forward to it.
I love him so much and enjoy every thing about him.
I also love watching Mike interact with him, they
are a great pair!

This was the first snow fall we had two weeks ago.
This past Sunday it snowed another 10', good times!
Happy Thanksgiving everybody! As we drift into
the holiday season I am reminded how much
I miss you all and wish you all the opportunity to
enjoy your family and friends without all the
hustle and bustle that the holidays can bring on.
I'm going to try and do the same! I think we're going to
get our tree this weekend. That will help with relaxing
in front of the tree.

Week 8 - Week 11

Have I mentioned that it feels like time flies?
Drew will be 3 months on Dec. 2nd, I can't believe it!
Here are few pictures of some of the happenings
around our home.Halloween at Nana and Papas. We were trying to
be creative with getting some fun photo opts of Andrew.
The above photo cracks me up cause I was feeding
Drew and he was under the "hooter hider." It
reminded me of the wicked witch from Wizard of OZ!

Our little family did some pumpkin carving before
we headed to Nana and Papas. Daddy decided
Drew's would need marker instead of carving.
I think we did a pretty good job!
My mom and dad flew me and Drew home for
Aunt D's baby shower. It was SO great to be home
and get to see Dez pregers. She looks great! She said
Peyton (baby girl's name) was kicking Drew when she was
holding him! It's started already!! Thanks mom and dad,
it was such a wonderful visit and treat to come home!
Need I say more...precious!

Cat/Griz game day! Dad had Andrew all geared up.
Of course he's wearing a Coug hat but the colors are
close enough. Unfortunately, the game didn't turn
out that great. I hope the Cougs can pull off a win!
Sleepy boy.

Proud Daddy!
It's been a great few weeks. I did head back
to work last week. I'm so lucky that I only work
Wed.-Friday! The week went quick and I knew he was
in the best of care with Grandma Patti and Papa D!
Now, I'm off until Dec. 1st! Happy Thanksgiving
everybody, we miss and love you!

Our Little Pumpkin

Andrew is 8 weeks and 2 days! He's
weighing in at 10 lbs, 11 oz!! I can't believe
how much has changed in eight weeks! He is so
much more alert and really getting a personality.
I have two weeks left until I go back to work and
I must say, there's nothing in me that wants to
go back. I feel like I'm sort of getting this mommy
thing and really starting to enjoy (not that I didn't
before) this love of my life! Anyway, I am blessed
that I get to stay home with him on Mondays and
Tuesdays AND will get four out of seven days with him!Our visit to the pumpkin patch! A little pumpkin
for our little pumpkin.

As you can tell he was very excited about our
first visit to the pumpkin patch.
Ah, a smile to melt my heart!!
Sleeping tight with his favortie binky! Grandma
Patti calls it a "nummy," I like it!
Trying to get some cute shots of my little guy,
you gotta be quick!!
I just thought this was sweet.
A few weeks back after my favortie gals
visits were over I had a bit of a tough transition
back to being a mommy on my own. Mike
sensed that things were feeling rough in my
world and brought these home. (Sigh) I'm
such a lucky gal.
How precious are these little hands?
Uncle Poops (Val) preparing his baby girl's crib!
I can't wait to meet my little niece, and see my
little brother become a daddy!!
Auntie DD is 27 weeks here!! She looks great!
She and Val were in a different town seeing
Carrie Underwood.
All is right with the world...all is right.

House Guests and a Birthday!

We celebrated Mike's birthday on Wednesday.
It was Andrew's first birthday party which was
fun! Amy also came in to town that day which
added excitement. It was a very laid back
event that we all enjoyed. Happy Birthday Mike (Daddy)!Since about two weeks Andrew has been wanting
to hold his head up. So when we do tummy time
he loves lifting his head. Daddy and baby sacked out! Drew loves laying
on chests, I'm guessing he enjoys the sound of
our heartbeat.
Doesn't he look like Randy from "A Christmas
Story?" We went on a walk this afternoon and
there was a chill in the air so we decided to bundle him up! We were lucky enough to have Eric (Amy's husband)
come out and spend the weekend with us. We
enjoyed showing him the different breweries. On
Saturday Eric made a huge batch of marinara sauce
and gave us a freezer full of meal options. Thanks Eric!

Andrew loved spending time in Auntie Amy's arms.
It was so wonderful having Amy here since last
Wednesday. She helped us out so much and
was such great company. I'm so blessed to have
such a wonderful friend. Thank you again!
Cutie!
Sleeping in his daddy's arms.
At 6 weeks Drew is close to 11 pounds! He
continues to grow like a weed. I'm scared that if
he doesn't slow down at some point I'm going to have
a gigantic baby by 3 months! He's pretty darn wonderful.
When Kimberly stayed here one of the evenings
she cooked us breakfast for dinner, her waffles rock!
Abby enjoyed her meals in our Bumbo.
Again, it was wonderful having Kimberly and
Abby here. Our visitors have brought us nothing but
joy and laughter. It's been so wonderful to have my family
and friends see Andrew and the life we live in Billings.
It has made for very hard goodbyes and a lot of "self talk."
Thanks everybody...thank you.

My BFFAE and her baby came to visit!

The Yasenaks were lucky enough to have
Kimberly and Abby visit for an extended weekend.
It was such a blast to have my great friend here
and see Abby have so much fun interacting with
all of us. Abby was so cute cause when Drew would
cry she would laugh, it made us giggle. Thank you
Kimberly and Abby for making time to come see
us, it meant the world to me to have you
both here!
The kids are looking at Kimberly. "Oh hey
Kimberly." "Oh hey mommy."Andrew is quite advanced and is using sign
language to request food.

Just chillin watching football.

All of the pictures you are viewing Kimberly took.
She got some great shots, thanks again for sharing!
I mean look at this cutie!!
Andrew is practicing holding up his head. He's
a pretty strong little boy.

"Go Cougs Drew!"
Ugh, I miss you already and wish we could have
play dates ALL the time! Love you!

1 month plus!

It was shocking to me when Oct. 2nd hit and
Andrew turned 1 month! I must be in a total daze
cause it feels like yesterday that he arrived.
Here are a few things that have been going on
in the last week or so.Grandma Patti babysitting Drew while mommy
ran to the grocery store! Andrew does a great job
in Grandma Patti's arms. Thanks Grandma G!
Grandma Moro sent Andrew this cute Halloween
onesie and I had to put him in it this week cause
he is NOT going to fit into it come the 31st. Thanks
Grandma M!
Elena and Becca came over for an
impromtu playdate. The kids enjoyed
playing under the "sea scape" together!
SO darn cute!
Aunt Lurr (AKA Antler) came to visit us this past
weekend. It was such a gift to have a wonderful
friend here to visit us. Thanks Antler, we had a blast!
And what a wonderful mommy you are going to be one day.
We are thrilled to finally have grass!! I'm going to
post a before and after photo here in the next few days.

Grandma Moro wanted a picture of Andrew with
his eyes open, here you go!! What a cutie!

I thought this one was funny, he's sort of smiling and
falling asleep.
And this one speaks for itself! He's so
dang cute I could kiss him all day long!!
What a eye opening (yet wonderful) month it's been!
I truly believe it takes a village to raise a child. We've
been blessed with many village people to help us out,
I'd be lost without all those who have
helped out locally and traveled from afar.
Drew is such a wonderful gift, thank you!
