Introducing my niece, Peyton Arianna Moro!

Sweet girl! She was born Wednesday, January 19th
at I want to say 8:05am. She weighed 8lbs and was
19inches. I can't believe she's almost 2 weeks old
already! Mommy, Daddy and baby are all doing
fine. Getting use to the changes and excitment.
I think she looks a lot like Val did when he was
brand new but everybody says she looks like Dez,
what a great combination!
I am thrilled to finally be an aunt! And, I hope
I get to meet her sooner then later. Congratulations Val and Desiree! She's beautiful!

Drew-be-do-be-do at 4 1/2 months

Well, we've really been working hard on getting Drew
into a night time routine. Mike and I get a real kick out
of watching Drew in the tub. He splashes and goes crazy.
After the bath daddy styles Drew's hair into a real cute
mohawk. I tried to get a good shot but this was the
best I could do. The best part about the "babehawk"
is that it stays in place, it's like his hair wants to be that way!!He's into grabbing everything!! Mike looking at his son with
such joy. It's only the beginning of a lifetime of love
and companionship. Drew loves his daddy so much, he
laughs so hard and is so happy when his dad is around. Mike
really is the best daddy and husband. Since the day Drew was
born Mike has been right by our sides ready to do whatever
it takes to make us happy. It's so awesome to watch Drew
and Mike interact, they make a great team.
Go Cougs!!!! And you'll see one of the fancy
pacifiers Grandma Moro got him.
Thanks Aunt Lurr for the cute outfit, I wore it to
a baby shower and was a REAL hit!
Look mom and dad I'm all ready for bed!! This bed time
and napping stuff is a piece of cake...except when I get
my foot caught in between the slats, Oops!!!
Bath time!!!
My recent new trick, and favorite thing to do
when I get out of the tub! Aren't I cute?
Mmmmm, I like sweet potatoes. AND sweet peas
and avacado! Next is prunes!!
These two pics are out of order, this one is before
food, the above is after.
He loves his playmat, it's one of his daily stations!
He also enjoys just laying on a blanket playing with toys
or sucking on something, his swing is fun too, he'll
watch a half hour of Baby Einstien or the
Backyardagains, he was just introduced to the doorway
jumper and LOVES that, he's a busy guy!!
Boy do these little guys grow fast! He continues to
work on rolling over and many other things. Today
I watched him as he controlled his own pacifier!!!

Love You Forever

So it's Friday night and I'm feeling a little emotional
in that we're transitioning Andrew into his crib.
So far it's going okay but I've had a "hawk eye" on the
monitor and it's been about an hour since we put him
down. I've only had to go in once to replace his
pacifier. He's cried a few times but doing okay, I'll
let you know in a few days how it ends up. Anyway,
our four and half month old is just amazing. He's SO
alert, SO hysterical and so happy...most the time!
He can offically (as of tonight) put his toes in his mouth,
scream just to hear his voice, eats baby sweet potatoes,
can sort of replace his pacifier if it's close by, laughs when
he sees himself in the mirror...especially when he's naked!
He's growing so darn fast!
In this picture I am reading
him one of the books Santa brought him, "Love You Forever!"
I can barely get through reading it without getting
choked up, it's just a touching story and I
think about my life with Andrew so much as I'm reading it. If I
could I would hold him in my arms forever. I know
I've probably said this a thousand times but the love
I feel for him could never be equated into numbers.
I just know "I'll Love Him Forever." Harper
had to be a part of it too. Like I said earlier, my favorite thing is having Andrew in my arms.
He fell asleep with his little hand touching under
my chin, I was so touched by this moment I had
to have Daddy snap a shot. Ugh, "I Love Him Forever!" She's gonna hate me for not asking if I can post
this picture of her but I think it says a lot. She
is the gal that has "Loved Me Forever" and to see
my little boy being "Loved by her Forever" is priceless.
Can you see little Andrew's hand on Grandma? Oh
and of course the dog needed to be a part of it too!Thank you for "Loving Me Forever" mom.
If you don't own this book go out and get it, read it
to your babies...a lot!!

The Holidays...and I need to post more often!!

What a wonderful Christmas it was! Christmas is
my holiday, I think I come by it honestly in that my
Grandma Moro and my parents love(d) the season.
While I know it is important to count my blessing daily,
I really seem to find myself reflecting during the holidays.
This year brought such a wonderful, new love for
Christmas, in that I got/get to share it for many years to
come with my new addition, Andrew! I know he's too
young to appreciate it yet, but I felt like a kid again!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!
At home in WA celebrating Christmas...on the 27th!My Uncle Walter, Aunt Candy and Grandpa Larry
came down for Christmas dinner. Drew loved
being in Aunt Candy's arms!
My little boy praying and wishing baby Jesus (in a manger)
a Happy Birthday!
When someone new comes into the Moro household
they get a homemade stocking! Drew got a Grizzly bear
dressed in Cougar gear. I love it! Thanks Grandma!
Andrew spent a lot of time in Grandma Moro's arms!
He is always happy there.
Andrew and Uncle Stephen...they make each other laugh.
Sweet love, sweet love. I'm overwhelmed by the love
I feel for this little guy. Sigh...
He's four months old!! Crazy how time flies.
Christmas morning aftermath at the Leah/Mike
household. It was our first and quite a success! Even
the cats were pooped out.
Santa had arrived!!
What a great holiday season. We rang in the New Year
with my mom/dad/The Shippees and Aunt Lurr (Lorissa),
it was perfect!
May this year be good to you all! I hope this year is filled with
time spent with all of you.

Happy Holidays!

Our little angel under the tree. Well,
it didn't turn out so great but you have
to have a picture of the baby under the
tree! And of course Harper needed
to be a part of it as well.A very lazy Sunday afternoon. Mike and I
threw a Montana version of an ornament
exchange, by the looks of Mike in this picture
you can see it was a success! We got a pony
keg from one of the local brews and had about
20+ people sipping(gulping) off it. It was a
lot of fun to open up our house to friends and
neighbors here. Next year it's a "tacky holiday
sweater and bring a nice ornament party!"
Ummm, I love him! He's so amazing...he leaves
me speechless.

Daddy and Andrew enjoying each other's
company. And, Andrew has his
thumb in his mouth.
Okay I'm not sure what I did with the location
of this picture, but you get the drift. As you can
see our 3.5 month old is using his Bumbo.
Have I mentioned that time flies? He's eating 4oz
every three hours. Goes down around 8ish and
sleeps until 5ish. Isn't the greatest napper but
sleeps like a champ at night. Working hard
on rolling over, he's done it about 4 times!
Laughing and chatting up a storm. Sucking
his thumb and drooling like a dog! He's such
a blessing from God, I bear hug and kiss him
constantly.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Thanksgiving

Aunt Lurr, AKA Antler! This past Saturday
Mike, Andrew and I were able to head to Bozeman
and visit Lorissa and her family. It was such a
special treat to get to see them all! We spent the
afternoon at Jenelle's place enjoying some bloody
mary's and yummy soup!
On Thanksgiving we headed to Hank and Kim's place
for a great feast! We were lucky enough to have Jaime
and Mike come down from Great Falls, it's always
great having them visit. I hope they move to
Billings some day. They're with their newest family
member "Deek." He's a great dog! The following day
we spent the evening with Patti and Dennis. Our
entire Thanksgiving weekend was wonderful!
Happy Family!
These next few shots were taken while I was
playing with Drew, Mike was over my shoulder
getting the shots. At 12 weeks he has grown so much.
His smile is to die for! He loves smiling at us and
sticking his tongue out too. He's real strong with his
body and loves practicing "assisted"rollovers and pull ups.
He's also out growing his bassinet and starting to break out
of his swaddles. We've been sort of trying to get him
into his crib but he's taken to getting really upset
when he gets tired. We know we need to transition him
and so we think we'll take that leap of faith this coming
weekend. Wish us luck, I'm not looking forward to it.
I love him so much and enjoy every thing about him.
I also love watching Mike interact with him, they
are a great pair!

This was the first snow fall we had two weeks ago.
This past Sunday it snowed another 10', good times!
Happy Thanksgiving everybody! As we drift into
the holiday season I am reminded how much
I miss you all and wish you all the opportunity to
enjoy your family and friends without all the
hustle and bustle that the holidays can bring on.
I'm going to try and do the same! I think we're going to
get our tree this weekend. That will help with relaxing
in front of the tree.

Week 8 - Week 11

Have I mentioned that it feels like time flies?
Drew will be 3 months on Dec. 2nd, I can't believe it!
Here are few pictures of some of the happenings
around our home.Halloween at Nana and Papas. We were trying to
be creative with getting some fun photo opts of Andrew.
The above photo cracks me up cause I was feeding
Drew and he was under the "hooter hider." It
reminded me of the wicked witch from Wizard of OZ!

Our little family did some pumpkin carving before
we headed to Nana and Papas. Daddy decided
Drew's would need marker instead of carving.
I think we did a pretty good job!
My mom and dad flew me and Drew home for
Aunt D's baby shower. It was SO great to be home
and get to see Dez pregers. She looks great! She said
Peyton (baby girl's name) was kicking Drew when she was
holding him! It's started already!! Thanks mom and dad,
it was such a wonderful visit and treat to come home!
Need I say more...precious!

Cat/Griz game day! Dad had Andrew all geared up.
Of course he's wearing a Coug hat but the colors are
close enough. Unfortunately, the game didn't turn
out that great. I hope the Cougs can pull off a win!
Sleepy boy.

Proud Daddy!
It's been a great few weeks. I did head back
to work last week. I'm so lucky that I only work
Wed.-Friday! The week went quick and I knew he was
in the best of care with Grandma Patti and Papa D!
Now, I'm off until Dec. 1st! Happy Thanksgiving
everybody, we miss and love you!
