Blast from the past and some other stuff

Ode to Michael Jackson! That's right, that's my
cute husband (I think 3rd grade) wanting to be
Michael Jackson for Halloween. Of course his mom
being a great mom made sure that happened. Oh
and he's not tan, he put brown make up on!
You might have to click on the pic to get a better look! Our new purchase! Between Mike's car whose
engine is shot and it beeps while driving down the road
and my two door Honda we decided we wanted
better for our baby boy. Growning healthy roses in a bucket!! Who knew?!

Baby room pics before and kitties

I'm trying to pay bills and as you can see
someone else in the household finds it a major
drag too! I didn't have a lot of room to work with.
What's fun for me is that all my life my mom and dad's cats
have always jumped up on my dad's desk and
bugged him when he's trying to get work done.
This looks familiar huh dad? Here is what Andrew's room looks like
right now. Within the next month it
will look more like a baby room and less
like an office. I'll be in WA as the room
really takes on it's new shape so it'll be
a surprise for us all!
I'm sure you don't care a whole lot for pics of the
kitties but their a huge part of my world and I love them!

Look Grandma Londa, I love water from the rose
bushes you sent us! Boy has it been hot here. I
also really like laying in front of them for some
shade. If you click on the picture you'll see a bud
forming on the second to right bush!

A lazy day at home!

See you in the next few weeks! I can't wait!

Cortney's wedding

I'll be 31 weeks tomorrow! Eeek, where does the time go?
All and all I feel pretty good, it was fun
to get dressed up and wear heals. But I don't
think heals are in my future until after
Andrew is born. The bride! I was Cortney's "B" the day of her wedding.
It was fun, but MAN was I tired the next day! I did
nothing. It was a great wedding and tons of fun! Molly/Amy,
you gals did such a great job at our wedding! I totally
respect the job you did that day, even more than before!
Thanks again gals!

Kale and Gina Joyce! I work with Gina at Burlington,
she's our special ed gal and I took a few of
her groups last year. They're super fun!

A trip to Great Falls and Harper Sue!

A few weekends ago Mike and I headed up to
Great Falls, MT to visit Jaime and Mike. We
took a little drive out to "The Falls." Mike (my
brother-in-law likes to call Great Falls just "Falls,"
cause he says "there's nothing great about it!"
It does have a cute downtown and pretty
scenery.
So Harper Sue is a long haired cat and mama
thought it would be a good idea to get him
shaved for the summer. Well, do to all the
construction going on behind our house Harper
had to go in to the beauty parlor sooner then I
had planned. He took it upon himself to roll
in what smelled and looked like tar or oil. Our
beautiful boy went from long and lucious to short!
He's was super shy at first but he's coming around.

Missing my friend Liz...

Liz is one of my dearest friends who I met
through teaching in Bellevue. We were
instant kindred spirits and have remained
that way ever since. From the day she met
Mike she knew we were meant to
be together and has always seen things
in me long before I discovered them
myself. Liz has always been that friend
who finds the right words whenever you're
lost for your own and is an amazing support
system. What would I do without her?
My dear friend is many miles away from me
and going through some very tough times.
In fact, her family hasn't had a break in over a year.
For personal reasons I'll leave out the details,
but I can tell you she and her family could really
use some prayers for strength and comfort.
Life is so precious, please stop a moment
to tell those you love how much they mean
to you. Hug them, kiss them and tell
them you love them.

Liz, if I could hug you, kiss you and tell you
I love you in person I would and I will as
soon as I get out to Washington.
I love and miss you all and thank God
for you everyday.

A few things

27 weeks and I feel pretty good! 3 months
to go! Time has flown. I can't believe I'm going to have a baby small
enough to fit into this tiny diaper! It fits in
the palm of my hand!Good kitties! Their looking out our bedroom
window at all the construction. Yep, that's a
porta potty and a dumpster...lucky view huh?! Val and Dez stopped in Billings on their way
to Pensicola, FL for Val's new assignment. She's
about 5 weeks pregers here. Surprise! Just like daddy "driving shoes."Miss you all and can't wait to see you sometime
in July!
