I can't beleive we almost have a 1 year old. Drew is doing SO much these days it's hard to take in how fast he has grown in the past 11 months. I have to say I've been feeling a little bit of a "newborn" itch. Mike said," hang tight, give it some time!" :) Okay, but maybe spring?? ;)
Okay, I'm gonna go head to toe on what's happening with our babe. Drew, you have the prettiest hair I've ever seen, your curls are to die for! Your eyes are crystal blue and I love looking at them daily. You have 8 front teeth two top molars and two bottom RED bumps where molars are forming. You say words and sounds and here are a few; "mama, dada, quack quack, gat (cat)" and you mimic noises like daddy makes. You are about 20+ lbs and growing like a weed! Crawling is fun but you love standing and walking around things with support. In fact, last night you were holding Aunt Kendra's hand (just one hand) and walking with her. It's only a matter of time before you take off! You wave goodbye and love throwing your diapers away too. You still give mommy and daddy fits when changing your diaper but we love the new "huggies" pull ons for "active" babies! You love throwing balls and playing in your crib. My heart melts when I watch you on the monitor rolling around or doing the yoga downward dog while talking to your Jellycat monkey and kitty. You're sleeping a pretty solid 10 hours and so happy when you wake up, it makes getting up to see you so exciting! Don't get me wrong through, you have thrown a few fits here and there and daddy and I look at each other with horror affraid that this might carry on through life. Eeek! But those are few and far between and you are mostly a lover. You love Harper and Harper loves you, he tolerates you wanting to pet him, real hard. Norman runs from you but I love your determination in trying to win him over. You eat and love everything!!! However, you're just getting over a nastly cold (or severe teething symptoms) and have enjoyed looking me right in the eye and throwing food on the floor. Dear me! You've become a very independent little babe and love exploring everywhere. We love watching you explore everywhere! You make squeeking noises whenever we take you outside, it sheer excitement from deep down inside. Oh boy I hope I've covered who you are head to toe at 11 months. In 4 short days you will be a 1 year old. I can't believe how much you've changed my life for the better! You make me want to be a better person and teach you how to become a decent member of society. We love you Drewbie, Drewzie, Drewbiedobedo, Tinkey Toots, Little Man, Honey Honey Honey, Andrew Manning Yasenak!!

10 months and "SO Big!"
Oh it's so great having my computer back and running. However, I'm a little overwhelmed by how much Andrew has been growing and affraid I might not remember all that has happened! We headed home to WA a few days before he turned 10 months and while he struggled with sleep (and so did I) our trip overall was a blast! It was so much fun watching him interact in his new enviroment. He loved having his Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt, uncles and friends dode after him. He'd been responding to "SO BIG" before but really enjoyed showing people what he could do. During lunch Grandma would put on the Beach Boys and he loved dancing. Lorissa and I took him down to the Kirkland waterfront and he enjoyed eating a peach and taking in the scenery. We stayed a few nights with Kimberly and Abby and boy did Drew get back to Grandma and Grandpas thinking he was big stuff. It was crazy watching him interact with Abby (whose 10 months older than Drew) because he wanted to be doing everything she was doing. Coloring, playing in the playpen, playing with make up brushes...he even really started making the "mama" word clearer and intentional. Mama, was his first word but soon after he was working on dada. We are SO thrilled by Andrew everyday and have so much fun watching him grow and develop into a little person.
Stay tuned for what's been going on in 11 months!!

Help me fellow bloggers!
Can anyone please tell me why my blog posts are double spaced?!! It's driving me crazy. How do I correct it?

9 months, and we can hardly keep up with him!!
Okay, this post is going to be looong, but it's his
baby book so I have to get it all out there! Sorry for the
delay but we got a computer worm and had to put
things on hold for awhile.
In Andrew's words...
I'm a big boy now and am only on formula and using
bottles. I decided at 8 months that "b-feeding" was
for babies and decided I'd start biting my mom. As a
result we wrapped up "b-feeding" real quick! At 9 months
I love getting into everything and anything! I want
whatever my mom and dad have and might throw
a little fit if I don't get what I want! (Awesome!)
I love going on walks with mom, it's great fresh air!
I hate getting my diaper changed...still! I'm getting
lots of bumps here and there cause I'm real adventurous
and love checking it all out! I'm crawling everywhere
and pulling myself up on everything. I'm kind of
enjoying learning how to walk with help from someone.
I'm pretty good at sleeping now. As long as I have my
"lovey" that's what mom calls my Jellycat monkey and
my pacifier I do pretty good!
I just have a lot going on right now...I like big kid stuff!
My Grandma and Grandpa came to visit for almost
two weeks! WE LOVED having them here, they're so
much fun! Grandma always takes such good care of me,
and my mom says she always feels like she gets a little
vacation when they're around! I wonder what she
means by that?
I'm very active and don't like being held down for
too long. However, I LOVE giving kisses and playing
patty cake!
weekend, we always have so much fun!

In Red Lodge at the cabin. So relaxing!
In Red Lodge at the cabin. So relaxing!
I can get my hands on! Mom and dad are always
getting stuff out of my mouth. (I swear we try and
keep the floor safe and clean!) Which they find
kind of scary since I have 7 teeth now!!!!
cousin Baby Talia! It's a boy and I am sitting with
him and my Aunt Jaime, he's coming any day.
I can't wait! I think we'll be the two best friends
that anyone could ever have!
a lot and we had a great time...I'm glad we're family.
Mom loves when she comes out, they're such goofballs
when they get together. As you can see she's reading
a great book while holding me!!!!
out of the faucet. And, mom lets me push my toys
in the tub...I love watching them land!
my favorite! I just love feeling the different textures
on each page. My other favorite book is "In My Den."
and Grandpa Dennis picked out this shorts outfit
for me! And, of course I am playing with a diaper.
I don't know why but I love playing with diapers,
clean ones of course!
I'm really interested in feeding myself, as you can see.
It's a bit messy and mom is adjusting but it's SO much
fun!
I love it! Especially when mom and dad have folded
clothes in a basket.
Andrew is fantastic and all of these new
milestones are so excititng and a little
nerve wracking too! BUT, he's a love and
we love him so much. I'm not sure of his weight,
at 8 months he was 15 lbs and 15 oz! Apparently,
he's a littler guy for his age but his Doc isn't the
least bit worried cause he's progressing just fine.
Being a parent has it's challenging moments, but
it's truly sweet bliss!!!!

8 months!!
Oh boy, well 8 months brings a whole lot of new
experiences with Andrew. Where to begin? How
about with diaper changes, WE ARE STILL
WRESTLING A CROCADILE! But, we try and
have a good sense of humor about it cause there's
nothing else we can do. He's sitting up like a champ,
even in the bathtub! STILL loves the ABC song, A LOT.
His eyes are as blue as blue can be, we think he gets
to keep them since they haven't changed yet. SO, what's
new? HE'S CRAWLING...EVERYWHERE! Major baby
proofing going on here. He only wants what Mommy and
Daddy have, such as cell phones, computers, make-up (daddy
doesn't have this), water bottles...you name it! His top
two front teeth came in AT THE SAME TIME! He did
relatively well considering he had two new teeth breaking
through. His curly hair is starting to show
and it is SO cute! He's starting to share stuff and give
kisses (real wet ones). Doesn't care much for getting ready
for bedtime, but eventually calms down and goes to sleep.
He's starting to nap longer these days, not so many "SNAPS,"
as I like to call them. He's talking up a storm and lets us
know when he wants something! I think I could go on...
his smile is to die for and his personality is an A+++! We
love him like crazy and feel SO blessed for him. I can't wait
We were so lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Moro
here for almost two weeks! It was so much fun and Andrew
loved having them around...me too! I even got a few naps
in while Grandma and Grandpa loved on him, it kind of
felt like a mini vacation for me! Ho hum, we miss them
terribly already but look forward to our visit in June.
Love you all!

7th months!! He's closer to being a year than a newborn!
So, I can't say enough that
"Time Flies!" Here is our sweet 7 month old.
We got these little cowboy boots as a gift
and we put them on him today to see how
they looked, only to find out he's practically
out-grown them! It's amazing to me how
fast he's growing. In the
past month he's mastered sitting up, rolling
everywhere (I call it Roller Derby) and
fighting getting ANYTHING changed!! Oh, and
waiting on his two front teeth to brake through.
Teething has made sleep hard on him...and me.
This is Andrew's buddy Elena, she's 3 weeks older than him. She crawls and LOVES getting close to Andrew. He's okay with it until she pushes him over and goes in for kisses! No really, she does and I have a video to prove it! Her mom and I couldn't stop laughing.
Daddy put him in this bucket and he was elated! Actually, he has a love affair with the bucket. Of all the toys he has he wants to be around the bucket! I really could have saved a few bucks knowing a bucket would do the trick.
Here, he's in to everything but his toys!
Again, Harper is always close by. Drew loves when the high chair tray is taken off. I think he thinks he really big stuff with no tray, it's real cute.
While he's smiling in this picuture, he wasn't before the camera came out (he's becoming a real ham in front of the camera) do to his dislike for carrots. What you might not know is there is a picture of me about his age where I am showing my dislike of carrots. I guess the apple really doesn't fall far from the tree!
He loves his football! I swear it's innate!
He's a total goof ball!
in front of the camera. I have a series of photos
from this shoot where he appears to be posing
all over the place. The one above is probably
my favorite!
the flow. He didn't mind these silly bunny ears
on him at all. And, if I'm out running errands he's
real good about being patient. As long as he's
fed, changed and has had a little nap (I call them
"snaps") he's a total trooper. Unless his two front
teeth are bothering him. All and all Mike and
I are so blessed.
